SEVEN WITCHES Guitarist: 'Major' Record Deal On The Table

June 20, 2006

SEVEN WITCHES guitarist/mainman Jack Frost has issued the following update:

"As I'm sure some of you know, I'm not going to be able to join MARSHALL LAW. Believe me when I tell you it's nothing personal on either end; MARSHALL LAW and their fans are great. The fact is that it just came at a really bad time as far as things coming up on my end, (which I'll get into as this update continues) and like the press release from MARSHALL LAW said, we just don't have time to do the quality product that MARSHALL LAW and SEVEN WITCHES are known for, so rather then put out a substandard product and disappoint any of our fans, we decided to call it day. I wish the guys nothing but the best and hope they have great and even huge success with everything they do and want to thank them for the opportunity to even play with such an awesome group as MARSHALL LAW.

"In other news, SEVEN WITCHES and FROST, my solo project, are on the verge of signing a new record deal with a MAJOR company that will give both projects a three record deal each. With this deal, it will allow for more touring, better videos, bigger and better distribution and more support then we've ever received in the past. At this point nothing is set in stone so I can't say much more, but It will definitely be better for anyone who say's that they never get to see us live or can't find our albums.

"Let's see, what else... I've just got done with the final designs, technical specs and personal tweaks on my first signature series amp. Until all is ready I won't list the name of the company or amp, but it's a major name in high-end amplification and the amp is killer. It'll be officially unveiled at the Winter NAMM show in Anaheim, CA in early 2007 and will be available for sale soon after. This amp will incorporate everything any metalhead or serious player could ever want or need and will be the new standard on which a lot of amps will be based. I know that's a huge thing to say, but trust me, this amp is being built by one of America's premier engineers in modern amplification. This amp was many months in just design and no stone was left unturned, no matter how major or minor, in any aspect of the design.

"OK, now I know this next subject is a major one, the subject of the [SEVEN WITCHES live] DVD. I can hear you all screaming now, 'Where the hell is this f**king thing? Did you make it up or something?' Truth be told, the DVD ran into a lot of behind-the-scenes problems, none of which I can get into in the open forum of a website, however, I can now give a firm and FINAL release date, drum roll please, THE DVD WILL BE RELEASED SEPTEMBER 26TH 2006 !!!! Screaming Ferret Wreckords is putting out the DVD, FINALLY! Although SFW was not the original company, they took up the challenge and made all of the problems go away, and as a bonus, they also agreed to give my solo album, 'Out In The Cold', its American release as of August 29th, 2006.

"Past that, there probably won't be much more news coming out for the next few months, as we're going into 'writing seclusion,' as our tour manager Brotherman puts it, and really won't have much to report. We'll probably employ the services of our favorite roving metalhead reporter Rich Catino of www.metalasylum.net to film a studio report as we've been doing for the last two albums to try and keep everyone up to date."
